Via the excellent blog Volang I found La maison d'Anna G, a blog about Scandinavian interior design and let me tell you this, this lady sure has got an eye for beautiful things. The few snapshots from her own home indicates an eclectic, exciting taste in design. It also reminds me of the fact that I, even though I have been living abroad for the last 2,5 years and intend on keep doing so, do not have a Dala horse. Scandal!
I am as interested in interior design as the next person I guess, but I keep failing when it comes to keeping my home minimalistic and colour coordinated. I am way too undecided to go for one colour scheme or one particular style. The only interior preferences that have really stayed with me over the years would be my love for 50's design and teak furniture and my never ending affair with the colour blue. As for minimalism, I love it in pictures but let's face it: I collect. I come from a family of collectors. I live with a guy who is kinda messy and with a dog that is everything but organized.
