Today I woke up feeling extremely grumpy and tired. It's pouring down and I've been sulking in the flat with Charlie, who hates rain on her pretty paws more than anything else, all day. And then this arrived! I ordered these from Amazon just a few days ago and I can't wait to get started on the Murakami book. I love, LOVE everything he has ever written and I'm sure this will be no exception. I'm gonna curl up on the couch with a cup of tea and this a.s.a.p.
I've actually never heard of Little Green Dresses before but just flicking through it, I already know this will be super useful. It's all about refashioning and recycling clothes with loads of handy sewing tips and I really like the way Sparkles thinks when it comes to these matters. She also encourages buying fair trade and from small independent designers so yay and hooray, she definitely has my vote!
Right now, Charlie is wrestling a blanket on the floor and my lovely A is cooking his amazing pasta pomodoro for me. Just like that, shit turned into gold. Have a lovely Monday!
